Expertise & Vision
I am a Solar PV Supervisor with hands-on field experience managing an industrial autoconsumption system for a cement plant in Morocco.
I created this blog for one simple reason — there is very little practical, field-based content in English about solar PV for industrial facilities in Africa and the MENA region. Most of what exists is either too theoretical or written by people who have never stood on a real industrial site.
Everything I write here comes from real projects, real data, and real operational challenges. No generic advice. No copy-paste from datasheets.
My Focus areas:
1. C&I clean energy: Industrial solar systems across Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt
2. System sizing: Performance monitoring, and O&M
3. AI applications: Solar PV supervision and predictive maintenance
4. Technical analysis: Green hydrogen and hybrid power systems
I am currently completing a certification in Artificial Intelligence applied to the energy sector — adding a new layer of analysis to traditional solar PV supervision.
In parallel, I closely track and analyze how large-scale Solar PV fuels Green Hydrogen production across the MENA region. Since green hydrogen relies entirely on optimized solar power plants, I use my technical background to analyze the link between PV engineering and future hydrogen infrastructures in markets like Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
If you are an engineer, project developer, or investor working on solar projects in this region — this blog written for you.
